Do you have a good idea for your community but do not know what funding is available to help you?
Suzy Davies, AM for South Wales West, is hosting a funding workshop with Big Lottery Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund. Expert and advisors from both organisations will be on hand to advise and assist people on how to start up community projects in their areas.
Mrs Davies said:
“I meet so many people that have great ideas for the community and really want to make a different, but just don’t know how to get the project started.
“With the help of the workshop we can bring those people and some of Wales’ biggest funding pots together so that those ideas can become a reality.
“Whether it’s sport, education, art, green space, for children and young people or for adults, this workshop will have handy tips and advice on how to make it happen.”
The workshop will take place on Friday 30 May, starting at 2pm and running until 4pm at Sketty park Community Centre on Heather Crescent.
