Dog injured in attempted burglary

Police are seeking information relating to an attempt burglary, which left a dog injured, at an out house on Green Lane in Kinmel Bay.

The offenders are believed to have used a hand digger (small shovel type implement) to gain entry to the property via a window, between 17 and 20 June.

It is believed that the family pet Labrador sustained injuries to his back, as a result of the attempt burglary. These injuries are consistent with the pet being hit with the shovel.

PC Ian Condon said: “This is a callous and deplorable attack on a family pet. Anyone with information relating to this should contact North Wales Police on101, or 0845 6071001 (Welsh line), 0845 6071002 (English line) or Crimestoppers Wales on 0800 555111.”
