Flintshire Business Week 2010 – Business Award winners

The winners of this year’s Flintshire Business Awards have been announced. Now in its fourth year, the Awards have earned a reputation for recognising the achievements of some of the most successful businesses in Flintshire. They recognise the most successful and fastest growing companies in the county and the entrepreneurs behind them.

Councillor Tony Sharps, Deputy Leader of the Council, said: “We are rightly proud of the achievements of businesses in our county, without them, we would all be much poorer. Businesses here have shown that they can succeed and match the best in the world, we have centres of aerospace and automotive engineering that are second to none, as well as a range of small companies involved in everything from telecommunications, to landscaping, to renewable energy.

“We want to do what we can to support our business community, their success benefits us all. We offer warmest congratulations to all of the companies who entered this year’s awards.”

The winners received their awards at a ceremony on Tuesday 19 October at Soughton Hall, Northop which was attended by all major businesses in Flintshire. The winners of the eleven categories are listed below:
