Disco, Soul and Seventies music are on the menu this season at two of Rhondda Cynon Taf’s leisure centres, which are hosting Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties.
Hawthorn Leisure Centre at Fairfield Lane near Pontypridd is hosting Christmas join-a parties on December 10, 11 and 17, 2010. All are welcome to come along and enjoy a five-course meal and music by soul band Supernatural from 7pm til midnight, with tickets £30. On Saturday, December 18, disco band Devious will entertain at the join-a-party. Tickets are £6 and there is no meal included.
Llantwit Fardre Leisure Centre at Central Park, Church Village, is hosting a gig by top 70s tribute band Ballroom Glitz on Saturday, December 4 from 7pm. Tickets are £7.
The centre is also holding its New Year’s Eve family disco on December 31 from 7pm-12.30am. Tickets are £6.50 adults and £3.50 children.
