Prestatyn burglaries appeal

Detectives investigating two burglaries in Prestatyn, are renewing an appeal to the public for help.

Police were alerted to the burglaries at Serv-u-rite and Santander before 8am Friday, November 5. The premises are next door to each other and offenders are believed to have forced their way into both premises.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have information regarding the incident or who may have been in Prestatyn town centre area overnight and seen anything suspicious to get in touch.

They are particularly keen to hear from a woman who was seen walking a small dog in the lower end of the High Street, near Santander and Serv-u-rite, from around 12.40am. It is believed the woman entered the Texaco garage shop on Marine Drive before walking up the High Street. Detectives would like to speak to the woman as she may hold vital information that could assist police with their investigations.

It is believed that three offenders were involved, all of whom had their faces covered and were wearing dark clothing. They are believed to have used cutting tools.
