We at Welsh Icons Towers were amused to receive this communication today from our good friend Richard Arnold, Commercial Directory, Really Welsh Trading Co.
I used to be a big fan of Mr Brockway… Wales foremost forecaster… but between him and the BBC weather website, the normally an excellent service, things have slipped a little of late.
The snow in Builth on Friday – about 5 inches in 2 hours wasn’t exactly on the BBC chart on Thursday, and minus 6 forecast for us in Powys last night became Minus 17 over night – and was still minus 15 at 10am this morning (see above).
Now I can’t blame Derek or the BBC for no running water at home, but I would ask that he and the team give Mid Wales a little more of a thought on Monday’s prediction.
Right – now where can I have a shower?
