Joyful occasion at Council’s Christmas celebrations

Denbighshire County Council raised £600 at its annual Christmas carol service, held at St Asaph Cathedral last week.

The collection will be shared between St Kentigern’s Hospice and the cancer unit at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan – the Chairman of Denbighshire, Councillor Bill Cowie’s chosen charities for the year.

Councillor Cowie said: “I would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the event a very special occasion. It was great to see the Cathedral full to the brim and I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the readers and to the singers from Ysgol Glan Clwyd(St Asaph) and Ysgol Hiraddug (Dyserth), as well as the instrumentalists from Rhyl and Prestatyn High Schools”.
