Police have charged a 33 year old local man with attempted robbery following an incident that occurred in Newmarch Street, Brecon at approximately 2.10pm Tuesday 3rd December.
A man, described as being in his 20’s, about 5ft 2inches tall and wearing jeans, jacket and a baseball type cap, attempted to steal a shopping bag from an elderly couple walking down the street.
The man is now due before magistrates in Brecon this morning Thursday 5th December.
