Medieval Murder at Caerphilly Castle

Lovers of the medieval murder mystery are in for a treat when world famous authors Michael Jecks and Bernard Knight appear at Caerphilly Castle next week (Thursday 20th May).

The two masters of popular fiction have been invited by Caerphilly council’s Library Service to talk about their work at the Great Hall of Caerphilly Castle on Thursday 20th May at 2.00pm.

Professor Bernard Knight, CBE, became a Home Office Pathologist in 1965 and was appointed Professor of Forensic Pathology, University of Wales College of Medicine in 1980. Since then he has written numerous novels including his famous “Crowner John” series.

His partner in crime Michael Jecks gave up a career in the computer industry to concentrate on writing and the study of medieval history, especially that of Devon and Cornwall. He has since written 29 books in his popular “West Country Mystery” series.

With these credentials, it is hardly surprising that this double-act of mystery writers are heavily in demand all over the country. Don’t miss out on your chance to see them at this event in the historic surroundings of the Castle.

Free admission is by ticket only and all are welcome.
