Clwyd West MP, David Jones, is urging local community groups to take advantage of NatWest’s “CommunityForce” project.
Within the constituency of Clwyd West, up to three community projects could benefit from an award of £6,000 each. The winners will be decided upon by local residents, who know the projects, and can decide which projects they think will benefit the area most.
David Jones said:
“This is a very helpful funding opportunity for local people involved in projects in Clwyd West. I would encourage anyone who knows a local charity, organisation or group, which they feel would benefit, to register their interest, at: www.natwest.com/communityforce, from 25th July 2011”.
Those who are successful can also obtain help in the shape of volunteered time and expertise from local people who will be listed on the NatWest website.
