Police appeal for Witnesses: Road Traffic Collision in Brynhyfryd, Swansea

South Wales PolicePolice in Swansea are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that happened in Brynhyfryd on Tuesday 22nd July.

The incident occured at around 5pm-5.15pm when a six-year-old boy was crossing Llangyfelach Road at a pedestrian crossing between Freeman Street and Brynhyfryd Street along with a number of other children and adults.

A white vehicle, which is described as having spoilers, failed to stop after the collision and police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

The car had travelled down Llangyfelach Road towards the city centre.

The boy was taken to Morriston Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries. An investigation into the incident is continuing.
