Pride and Prejudice at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran

Illyria, one of the country’s most popular and entertaining theatre companies, are well known for getting the crowd roaring with laughter.  They bring Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice to life in an open air performance at the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran on Sunday July 11th at 7.30pm.

In a social whirlwind of balls, dinners and very eligible officers, Lizzie Bennett and Fitzwilliam Darcy stand alone as the only sane people – and they hate each other! Or do they? Can she see beyond his pride, and can he overcome her prejudice, in order to achieve their mutual happiness? The irrepressible Illyria sharpen their claws to bring you Jane Austen at her vibrant, pacy, bitchy best!

This is the first of three open air shows to take place at the Wildlife Centre this summer.  Pack a picnic and make the most of the warm summer evenings at one of the most enjoyable events in Cardigan’s arts calendar.

Tickets are £12 Adult, £10 concessions, £8 Child, with a GROUP PRICE (4 or more) of £10 per person.  Book on-line at www.mwldan.co.uk or call Theatr Mwldan’s Box Office on 01239 621200.
