Social Enterprise Project Leaves its Legacy

Assembly Member Darren Millar met with TAPE, a music and film social enterprise based in Old Colwyn this week to discuss their latest hard-hitting project.

TAPE Community Film and Radio provides bespoke workshops and projects in songwriting, playing instruments, recording, performance and all aspects of film. Its latest project, Legacy, is a film being made as an educational resource about substance abuse. The film has been made a people from across North Wales who have first-hand experience of this subject and have drawn on these experiences to make the film..

Speaking after the meeting Clwyd West AM Darren said:

‘I’m delighted to give the Legacy project and TAPE my backing.

‘TAPE is an exciting community enterprise where people of all ages and abilities can explore their creative ideas through music, film and the arts.

‘The Legacy project is TAPE’s first feature film. Its hard hitting film about substance misuse and the affects addiction has on individuals and those close to them.

‘I look forward to seeing the final result.’
