A group of students from Coleg Gwent’s City of Newport Campus successfully achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award at a ceremony earlier this month.
The students, who are studying Health and Social Care and Childcare alongside the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification, collected the awards after taking part in a variety enrichment activities and charity events.
Five students were awarded the full Bronze Award and six students achieved the sectional Bronze Award for physical activity, skills and volunteering.
Personal Tutor Wyneira Archer said: “We are very proud of our students’ success. They have worked very hard and made many individual achievements.”
