Unique Musical Performance at Risca Library

CaerphillyRisca Library will be welcoming performers Robin and Bina Williamson on Wednesday 18th June for an afternoon of unique musical expression and entertainment.

Robin and Bina Williamson have been performing together since the 1990s and their evocative sound, which combines East-West harmonies and musical elements, is completely individual in the current world of music.  Robin and Bina are sure to delight audiences with their entrancing and enigmatic sound, and their use of diverse instruments, including the harp and bowed psaltery, will blow listeners away.

Robin and Bina Williamson are performing as part of Library LIVE!, a collaboration between Blackwood Miners’ Institute and Caerphilly County Borough Council Library Services. Library LIVE! is a programme of events organised by Blackwood Miners’ Institute that aims to utilise the facilities provided by Caerphilly county borough’s libraries and to integrate theatre and arts events into the heart of the community.

Libraries across the county borough will be hosting music, drama, dance and storytelling events throughout the year, showcasing local talent and offering a wide range of activities for residents to get involved in.
