Win A Bike Competition Winner

One lucky Flintshire winner is the proud owner of a new bike, following a competition at the Denbighshire and Flintshire County Council marquee at the recent Denbighshire and Flintshire show.

Carol Williams of Leeswood won the bike, worth £350, which is from RPM Cycles in Buckley. Mrs Williams also won £50 worth of vouchers to spend on accessories for it. The prize was donated by Taith, which is the joint board of the six county authorities in North Wales, working together to deliver substantial and significant improvements to public transport across the region.

Carol Williams said: “This is a lovely surprise – quite a shock really! I certainly didn’t expect to win. Entering this competition was actually the first thing I did when I entered the showground. I live in quite a hilly area, but I think I will make sure I ride this bike on the flat!”
