Young Vipers hold first Boccia competition

The Young Vipers Boccia club recently held their first Boccia competition at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.

Nine players participated in two groups, playing a ‘round robin’ competition.

The group winners, Darren Briggs and Ashley Sweet, played in the final; this was a very close game with Darren winning by five points to two.

Angela Miles, Pembrokeshire Disability Sport Officer, presented the winner and runner up with trophies. The trophies were sponsored by Chevron.

The matches were refereed by Sian Jones and Gemma Rees, members of the Young Voices.
